NV Chinmaya School Chronicles: Insights from the Principal’s Desk”
Dear Students and Parents, there are 94 Chinmaya Vidyalaya, 86 in India and 8 in Trinidad and Tobago and out of 94 one at Shegaon.
All of them have one thing in common that is Chinmaya Vision Programme which is identified under four heads: Integrated Development, Indian Culture, Patriotism, & Universal Outlook.
Gurudev P.P. Chinmayanand Swamiji says, “Children are not the vessels to be filled but lamps to be lit”
It is the students who make the school; the infrastructure provides the facilities; the teachers provide the guidance; the parents provide the support, but it is the students who develop, who get changed and who are transformed. The students in school; acquire knowledge, skills and competencies; they also acquire the right attitude towards life in our school.
Our accomplishments in various fields were not only acknowledged by parents, but our achievements in the Swachhata Monitor”programme also garnered appreciation from the education minister and Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
This marks just the beginning of our journey; however, with the blessing of Gurudev and the support of our management and parents, we are committed to striving towards the Man Making goal of education. The transformation is the result of our commitment to Chinmaya Vision Programme. the entire CVP, the caring and sharing environment, the school, the meditation sessions, the singing of Bun and hymns together, the prayer, the inspiring stories, sports etc. All these activities transport us to a subline world, and slowly but surely, we become what can be roughly described as “good” human beings.
