Gurudev’s Birth Day
Observed with due reverence on the 8th May with Padhuka Puja, Chanting of Slokas, rendering of soulful Bhajans and an insightful speech into the life and teachings of Pujya Gurudev, H H Swami Chinmayananda. Archana and Arathi also elevate the spiritual importance of the day. Children of Class XII contributed and food was distributed to the needy.
Guruji’s Birth Day
H H Swami Tejomayanandaji’s Birth Day is celebrated / observed with a difference. Children are sensitized to the sufferings of the poor and the needy and the importance of serving them to alleviate their untold miseries. The milk of human kindness deep within them enable them to involve themselves in various service activities, such as visit to orphanages, schools for differently abled children, distribution of food grains and porridge among the poor and the needy.
Gurupoornima
Veneration for the great Seers and Masters to invoke their blessings characterize the celebration of this auspicious day in the life of a student. Bhajans, Aarathi and Archana add to the serenity and sanctity for a true spiritual recharging experience.
Ramayana Month
Ramayana Parayanam, Display of Dashapushpangal, rendering of Devotional Songs, Inter-class Quiz Competition, Character depiction and much more create a conducive environment fraught with mythology and cultural heritage for a physical, mental and spiritual rejuvenation. Talks by eminent personalities are also arranged for both students and teachers.
Mahasamadhi Day
Diligently observed in our Vidyalaya on the 3rd August by students and teachers with the chanting of bhajans, performing of padhuka puja, and archanas. Students revive their assimilation of the life and contributions of Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayanandaji.
X’ Mas
X’ Mas is a memorable occasion for the Kindergarten Kids. The little ones along with their teachers decorate an X’ Mas tree and display it to provide a ‘feast for the eyes’ of the chinmayites.
New Year
“Ring out the old; ring in the new” is the adage that enables us to usher in an era of hope, prosperity and fulfillment along with academic excellence.
